Danger: Hazards Ahead in the Age of Conversation

Even the most experienced folk can make a mistake, trip up, or simply get it wrong.

The question is … what do you do about it? How do you fix it?

And is it true — once it's on the web, will your misplaced footprints haunt you forever?

  1. Gav, it’s great. After I read the lead up that gave it context, I felt it had the right amount of in-jokes that made it very entertaining. It sounds like some people are a little too conservative.
It does slightly remind me of this thing Robot Chicken did with the movie Munich (which is MUCH worse)- http://tinyurl.com/7d2xa8. VERY very bad taste at first, but after the shock wore off, very entertaining.
Social media peeps are cut throat- it’s so easy to poo-pooh any idea as long as it isn’t your own and we all slam any screw up until another one comes along. Gives us something new to write about.

  2. Gavin, for what it’s worth, I ran it by Carmen Van Kerckhove at Racialicious/New Demographic/Anti-Racist Parent who deals with all kinds of media offense/defense interpretation and collective knowledge on the consulting front there…
She didn’t even blink. Just sayin’…
