Some weeks ago I happened upon the Big Think site. It is a startup headed up by Victoria Brown and Peter Hopkins (former Charlie Rose producers) and its focus is on bringing conversation about ideas — addressing the "meta" or the "physical" aspects of our modern existence. You can listen to and engage with ideas through text and video. There are some great videos already available, including Dan Gilbert on What is Happiness and Gillian Caldwell from Witness.
